I have now had several requests to share with the trading community my TradeStation Ticks indicator. I confess that this is one of my favorite indicator and it has given me some really great entries and exits when some of my other indicators have been either chopping or stuck in neutral. I also need to credit Linda Raschke for helping me with helping me put some of the missing pieces in that I needed in place in order for me to to turn the raw ticks into a workable indicator.
The NYSE ticks is the only indicator that I know of that can actually lead the market. I run my version of the tick indicator on a one minute time frame and find that it is often a full minute after the ticks have made their extreme ticks before the market does. How great is that!
