There are three indexes tracked. The top is the NYSE, middle NASDAQ and the lower chart is the Russell 2000.
The 10 day highs minus lows is a look at the market breadth in each index noting the number of symbols in that index that are making 10 day highs and from the number subtracting the number of symbols making 10 day lows. The difference yields an indication of which direction the underlying breadth is moving.
