he response to turning RedlionTrader.com into a membership site has been overwhelming. Yesterday we had our biggest day on the site ever. The ten day trades and new indicators are becoming very popular.
I had a set number of $24.99 gold memberships I could offer and we went through most of them, in fact I wanted to do just two more than I currently have, but I didn’t think out the process very well of how to make the transition to the next paying platform level. So I am just going to change it.
Tomorrow (Thursday Sept 2nd) the price will move up to $49.99 for new membership as support and hosting costs are going up again as we have hit a new membership plateau.
At the rate we are growing I don’t think the $49.99 level is going to hold very long, and the next level is $99 per year. Seeking value for a web-service is very difficult, there is a lot of free information out in the internets but it is difficult to find [good stuff that is] and it comes and goes. The only way to get consistent;y good data is to pay for it, and the only motivation to produce it is to get paid for it. That makes sense. Where the line for fair value is, however, is difficult to discern.
It is clear by the response that at $24.99/year we are under-priced. My biggest problem is a majority of readers think that is a monthly price. No it is annual payment and it is not a subscription, you won’t be charged every year.
I have taken too much of yours and my valuable time to simply write that tomorrow our prices will double, I wanted to warn you and encourage you to take advantage of a closing window if you haven’t done so already.
